Usage Tracking
DVDPS tracks user traffic patterns by automatically logging all user click-thru activity at our site. This information is used internally to help us better tailor our content to our user's needs. Information gathered about user traffic patterns, whether in aggregate or at an individual level, is never divulged to third parties for any reason.

Cookies
"Cookies" refers to data that Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. Cookies can include information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you've visited. But the only personal information a cookie can include is information you supply yourself. Allowing Web sites to read and write cookies from and to your hard drive does not allow them access to any other information on your hard drive. In addition, Web sites can only see the cookies they've written and not the cookies written by other Web sites you've visited.

Our Site uses cookies to identify a user for the purposes of tracking user traffic patterns (as described above) and to store your preferences which allows us to customize our content for you. We also use cookies to store information such as your Comparison Cart.

Vendor Reviews
Our Vendor Review System asks reviewers for their email address. A reviewer's email address is used (1) to verify the user's identity, (2) to send the reviewer an email notification that their review is being processed, and (3) to uniquely identify the reviewer. The reviewer's email address is displayed along with his/her review--if and only if the user gives express consent.

Other personal information such as the reviewer's name and state and country of residence is also collected for our Vendor Reviews. This information is not required and is provided by the reviewer with the understanding that it will be displayed with the reviewer's comments as supplemental information.

Contests and Giveaways
We run contests and giveaways on our site in which we ask users for contact information such as name and email address. Contact information from contests and giveaways is used to identify a unique user, to restrict multiple entries by the same user and to contact winners/prize recipients. Except where prohibited by law, entry into the contest or giveaway constitutes permission to use winner's name, and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. The name of the winner will be posted on Sponsor's Web site. E-mail addresses collected from contests and sweepstakes are never divulged to third parties for any reason.

Contest winners/prize recipients are asked to provide mailing addresses which are used to send contest related prizes and are then discarded.
